The Rolling Stones produced one of the best pieces of lyrics ever written. "You can't always get what you want." No matter how hard you may try to make something happen, if the stars aren't lined up; it's not going to happen. It may be better off in the long run, or it may not be. Most of the time, it sucks for lack of better words. All of your energy is given in to desperation and need of whatever it may be but the next line of the song is more meaningful that the forward. "But if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need."
Our Wants are very often confused with our Needs. What do you what and what do you need? What can you live without and what can you not? Being realistic, we don't need everything that we want and we don't want what we need. Before greed and lust get the best of you, think how fortunate even the gift of life is.
