As I’ve lately been scrolling through my social networking feeds, I’ve noticed a lot of ungratefulness. People complaining about things that aren’t even very important. This is the happiest, most wonderful time of year and more specifically, the time of year in which we should be most grateful. There’s so much more to life than that cute barista at Starbucks or those clothes at the mall you just HAVE to have. Don’t you realize there are kids and families not only in other countries or states, but right here in our very own communities that have the definition of nothing? As humans and sinners it’s only natural to be greedy and selfish, but we also have a choice to desire to end that wretched state of being. This year a lot of people I consider my friends and family have been robbed of people they held dear to them. Be grateful for Life itself. We’re all getting wiped off the face of the earth as we know it this weekend anyways right? So Love like it was your last day on earth. Treat others as if you would do anything to help them out and lend a hand. Put others before yourself and don’t worry! Don’t fret the things that have least to harm you. What will harm you, is not caring for others as Christ cares for us! Have love in your hearts and peace in your minds.
